How to Track a Prompt

Once your prompts are created, LLMMonitor sends them to ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, then analyzes the responses to see if your brand was mentioned and how. Here's how scanning works.

How Scanning Works

LLMMonitor deploys agents that query each LLM with your prompts, capture the full responses, and analyze them for brand presence. Each scan consumes one prompt slot per LLM selected. For example: 10 prompts × 3 LLMs = 30 queries in one scan.

The scan results show:

Reading Your Results

After a scan completes, your dashboard updates immediately. Here's what to look for:

Visibility Score

The large percentage at the top of your dashboard. This is your overall brand visibility — the percentage of scans where your brand was mentioned. The delta indicator (green ▲ / red ▼) shows change vs. the previous period.

Presence by LLM

Horizontal bar charts showing your mention rate per AI platform. Large disparities between platforms are a signal — investigate why you're strong on ChatGPT but weak on Gemini, for example.

Recent Mentions

A card grid showing the latest AI responses that mention your brand. Each card shows the prompt, the LLM, a response excerpt, and which competitors also appeared. Click any card to open the full response.

Competitor Comparison

Your brand vs. competitors side by side across the same prompts. See exactly which prompts favor you and which favor competitors.

Pro tip: After your first scan, wait 24-48 hours before running a second one. AI responses can vary between queries — multiple scans over time give you a more accurate picture of your true visibility.
